So there are characters?
If there are can I be a girl? -
Soaps (AKA rps) are almost like writing a story. The creator comes up with a plot, and you write parts for your character that goes with the plot. You can do it in first or third person.
For example: Lets say that a girl named Cindy is going to the store.
First person: I walked to the store, my heels clacking against the sidewalk. My hair fell in front of my eyes as the wind blew through the streets. The doors automatically opened and I walked inside.
Third person: Cindy walked to the store, her heels clacked on the sidewalk. Her hair fell in front of her eyes as the wind blew through the streets. The door automatically opened and Cindy walked into the store.
The characters are ones that you create to play as.
For example: This is Cindy's 'skeleton'.
Name: Cindy
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Looks: Long brown hair, green eyes, tan, tall, slim
And this is only a basic skeleton. Usually, the creator of a soap/rp will give you a skeleton to fill out.
You can choose whether to be a girl or a boy.
If you'd like, I can create a plot for you to try in. -

On a school field trip, the students are very excited because everyone has been waiting for the trip. Then suddenly, the bus falls over and rolls down a hill and into a forest. The students aren't worried until they find out they can not leave. But things just get stranger from there. There are monsters that you've read about or watched movies about. The students have to find out how to escape.
Then for characters, you can be either a monster or a student or both?
(This is a fantasy/supernatural/horror plot. I can come up with something else if you don't like it.) -
