Adric cuddled her in his sleep, smiling. Everything was perfect and he didn't ever wanted to leave.

Morning came too soon, but Iris was still asleep. David sighed as he walked up to his sister's room. He opened the door and his eyes widened when he saw another person in the bed with her. "Who the hell are you and what are you doing in my sister's bed?!" Iris jolted awake and muttered a curse under her breath.

Adric's eyes shot open and he scurried out of bed. Unfortunately, his legs were tangled in the covers and he ended up falling with a thud.

David glared at Adric then at Iris. "Funny that my sister is sleeping with a random guy. Where all the other guys like that?!" She flinched lightly. "D-david I can explain." He held up his hand. "I don't want my sister being a whore. I taught you better than this! Mom and dad taught you better than this!"

Adric slowly got up and slipped his shoes on. "Please. We didn't do anything. And she isn't a whore." He corrected, glancing over at Iris with eyes filled with sorrow.

Iris looked down at her blanket and tears started to fill her eyes. David grabbed Adric by his wrist and held a tight grip on it. "Stay the Hell away from my little sister or there will be Hell to pay." She shot up and got between them, removing her brother's hand from his wrist. "Don't you dare touch him! He didn't do anything to me and we didn't do anything!"

He blinked, nodding rapidly. He didn't dare stare into his eyes, for he could imagine the anger raging in them without taking a glance. He automatically rubbed his wrist and decided to leave without another word. He didn't hesistated. Adric just wanted to get out and he did.

She about said Adric's name, but she was scared to. Her brother was the scariest person she knew. She closed her eyes and tears slowly slipped down her cheeks. Adric...I'm sorry...I-I'm sorry. I'll find w-where you live alright..? she held the side of her head. He isn't going to keep me away from you.

Iris' words echoed in his head as he walked down the driveway. He was afraid to reply back so he kept quiet, continuing to sulk. He felt sullen and disappointed.

She didn't hear a reply back and more tears spilled from her eyes, her brother walked out and stayed by the door frame. "You're going to stay here, never see that boy again. He's trouble." He then closed the door behind him by slamming it. She fell to the ground and started sobbing. This wasn't like her, but she was angry and upset.

Instead of walking back to his place, he headed to October's. He needed to keep his mind off of Iris. Off of everything. He wished everything was like before but at the same time, he regreted that thought. He sighed as he stepped in front the front door of his best friend's.

Of course Iris glanced at her wrist, they still had scars. When her parents died she almost lost her mind, Adric leaving killed her. She traced over them gently and sighed. She knew she wouldn't do it again, but that promise would be broken.
Jade was just exiting October's house when she ran into Adric. "Geez dude!" She blinked and put on a serious face. "Adric, I've probably know you since the fifth grade, something is wrong." -
Adric backed away suddenly, uttering an apology. He just wished he could avoid anyone and their quesions."Everything is fine." He corrected, waving his hand in dismissal.

Iris rummaged through her drawers trying to find what she needed.
Jade glared and grabbed his wrist, making him sit on the porch. "Sit Adric. October is asleep. Is this about Iris?" She could always tell what was wrong. -
He shifted his eyes away, avoiding eye contact. "No. It's not." He replied immediately. And just to change the subject, he asked, "Are you sure Toby is asleep? Don't lie to me."
