He bit his bottom lip and nodded. "Exactly. So unless you want me to tell you, you have to tell me yours first." He grinned.

She blushed lightly. "Fine...its why me and my brother are the only ones who live here. " she took a deep breath. "Well...my parents died trying to protect me from someone who tried to rob the house. They hid me in a closet....and well when I came out you could guess what I found..." Her eyes blurred a bit with tears. "I haven't ever told Jade that story....I sometimes have nightmares about it.."

Adric frowned and pulled her closer to him. "I'm sorry.." He whispered, kissing her head. Maybe that's why she went crazy when he broke in that first night. It brought up those bad memories.

She blushed lightly. "We never did find out who broke in..." She buried her face into his neck. "Now...tell me yours..."

He grew stiff. Will she believe him? He don't want her to think he's crazy or just..mental. He shrugged it off and took a deep breath. "Um, Iris.." He started, thinking how he could word it out.

She waited for him to finish. She was a tiny bit scared of what he would say. But she would accept it, whatever it was.

"You..know I'm not..like you, right?" He stared at her and muttered out the last word, "human.." Adric shifted his gaze toward the door as if someone was listening to them. "I don't think...there can be a-" He swallowed, now glaring toward the door. "..us."

She sighed. "I don't care who you are, I don't care if you're a monster, I don't even care if you're a demon." She looked at him. "All that matters is that you..." She sighed lightly and took a deep breath. "All that matters is you love me. And even if you walk out of here saying you don't...I know you do..."

Adric didn't say anything after that. Instead, he embraced her, kissing her cheek lightly.

She blushed lightly and hugged him. She nuzzled his neck. "So...are you...gonna tell me?"

"Of course I do, Iris." He pulled away and stroked her cheek.

She blushed more. "So tell me what you are." She gave him a confident look.

"Oh, I'm a--um a demon." He muttered, s---fting his eyes.

Her eyes sparkled a bit. "Really? I always thought they weren't real." She poked him. "But you are so they have to be real."

(*shifting omg nononono fingers. xD) Adric chuckled. "We are.." He stood up and stretched. "So are unicorns." He teased.
