Cass started to walk home and saw his fangirls waiting for him. "s---!" He bursted into a full run and they screamed and went after him. It was a good exercise, but he wasn't in the mood for this. Not today. Soon he jumped onto a building and ran. He saw the disappointed looks, but he didn't care. Although he had been late to dinner before, it was his mother's night to cook, she was better than Aunt Nera.
Beth walked the streets and kicked a can on the ground. Something bad was gonna happen, she could feel it in her tail and maybe her ears. She didn't know what. -
"Okay fine, well...you have an hour so....", she trailed off letting the message sink in.
"Oh s---!", he jumped off the swing and quickly kissed her lips for a brief moment, "See you later Haze!", he called as he ran away. She waved at his running figure, "Bye".
She slowed her swinging and hopped off with a small smile on her face. Sure, she would've much prefered the kiss to be from Cass, but the fact that someone wanted her made her feel rather nice.
Walking into the kitchen, she spied Aunt Layla who turned around and smiled at her niece, "Well, someone looks happy today".
Hazel blushed, "We have a guest for dinner" -
Cass walked into the house from the front door and saw his dad Edward getting out of his work clothes. "Hey old man." He smirked. Edward hadn't changed much in the past three years, just his hair was in a small ponytail that went down his back and he looked a bit older. "Don't call me old, remember we all are young at heart." He ruffled his son's hair.
(did I forget to mention Cass has a small goatee) -
(You forgot that one, ooh...I have ideas!)
Layla turned around to face her, in the last three years she'd grown quite a bit, her once long hair was cut short, just skimming her shoulders, she'd become a bit curvy too.
She scanned the young girl's face, noting the blush and sparkle in her eyes, the aunt raised an eyebrow, "Its a boy?".
Hazel blushed more, "Yes, how did you know?".
The woman shook her head, with a small smile on her face, "Just a guess" -
(lol well he's got one. Well shoot them at me women!)
Cass laughed lightly. "What's mom making?" Edward smirked. "It maybe your aunt cooking boy." His ring glimmered a bit. He and Layla got married two years ago and still hadn't had anymore kids. Cass paled. "Not her food." He heard Nera's voice. "I heard that brat!! My cooking isn't that bad! Ed don't lie to your kid!" -
(Its a suprise *winks*)
Mom's voice could be heard all around the house, she had the gift of being heard, "Sorry mom! But your food is more for an army than a home!", she shouted back to her mother. One thing Hazel had developed from her mother was her fearlessness.
Caspian quickly placed a hand over his daughter's mouth, he too had changed, a little stud earing in one ear with stubble growing along his face, "Shush Hazzy! Do you have a death wish?" -
(Well damn. I hate surprises.)
Nera walked into the kitchen and sent a small playful glare at her daughter. Her blonde hair was a bit longer and her body was curved more. She still never changed. "Geez my own daughter betrays me for better food." She laughed lightly. She always noticed how Hazel looked more like her father and was Daddy's little girl, but she didn't mind.
Cass got passed Edward and Ed shook his head. He knew his son loved Hazel, you could see it when they were in a room together. He knew Cass couldn't tell her, not yet. He followed after his son. -
"Bmehnabdhdbrmph ph mph!", she replied, frustrated that her father would not remove his hand, he shook his head and chuckled, "Nah-ah, if you say anything now, I'll be the one to feel her rath". The young girl rolled her eyes at her father's cowardice, crossing her arms and scowling behind his hand she let out a little "Hmph!".
Layla laughed, "Cassy! Let the poor girl speak, you and I know well enough that she is not the kind of child you should attempt to silence"
He chuckled, "Oh yes, like when you were born the first thing you learnt to say was "Cass", and you'd never shut up" -
Nera laughed. "Let her go Caspian. I think you're killing her vocal cords." She smiled. "I remember that. You wouldn't stop saying his name, it was so cute!"
Cass walked into the room. "I heard someone say my name. I didn't do anything I swear!" Edward laughed and walked in as well. "Seems you guys are having fun without me." -
Layla laughed, "Oh, we're just talking about how when Hazel was born, she wouldn't shut up about you, though you were just as cute. You wouldn't leave the poor baby alone, kept kissing her".
Hazel's cheeks flushed, she kicked back, hitting her father in the shin, causing him to let go and double back in pain. "Owie! Parent abuse!"
Hazel grinned at Cass, "You seem quick to assume your in trouble, guilty consious?", she waggled her eyebrows teasingly -
Cass blushed. "Mom..." He looked at Hazel. "Why are you in a giddy mood? And my answer I already got beat up by Beth for dropping her sweet buns. That girl need to stop eating so many sweets."
Nera walked over to Caspian and poked him. "Wimp." She smiled and hugged him.
Edward walked over and hugged Layla from behind. "And how was your day?" -
Hazel blushed, "Oh...no, no rea-", she was cut off as she heard a knock on the door, "I'll get it!", she opened the door and was soon pulled into Louis' arms, he kissed her nose, "Hey pretty, like the suit?", he asked with a wink. She punched his chest softly, "Cute, you really did dress up didn't you?"
Caspian grinned and hugged her back, "Our daughter is as scary as you"
She smiled and looked up at him, "Normal...but here comes drama" -
Cass blinked lightly. "We have a guest...?" He didn't know who it was, but his gut was reacting badly to how she ran towards the door. It also killed his heart a bit.
She laughed lightly."I'm not scary or you wouldn't have married me." She nuzzled his cheek.
Edward frowned a bit."Let me guess...a boy is here?" He knew Cass wouldn't like this. Not one bit. -
He smiled, "Of course", he waggled his eyebrows, "Y'know I like the extremes".
She took his hand and lead him through to the kitchen, "Just a warning, we're a bit of a chaotic family"
Caspian frowned, hearing the words "boy is here", instantly he kicked into father mode, "Boy? Here? With my Hazel?".
Layla sighed, "Yeah...", she looked up at him, "Can't blame the girl, I don't think its anything serious. I guess she just got a bit curious about what its like" -
