The game is set in the fictitious, floating town of Hekseville. The story begins with a girl called Kat, who has lost her memory. She then runs into a mysterious black cat that gives her the power to control gravity. People with this ability are refered to as "Shifters". Kat uses this ability in order to protect people from the threat of a gravity storm and the Nevi monsters that have appeared along with it.
So in the RP I created, you can make your own "Shifter", and fight the Nevi. The Nevi are red monsters supposedly created of darkness. Most people steer clear of Shifters but as you help the townspeople more and more, they will accept you. Not all shifters get along. But in this RP, there can be "teams" of Shifters. The teams go on adventures to bring back the missing chunks of the town that were lost in the Gravity Storm.

Ok, so, what are my limitations?

Limitations as in characters, power? What type of limitations?

What do I have to be? Such as, can I just be anything, or do I like, have to be human or some sorts?
Also, power. Can I come in over-powered, Or do I have to make my way and learn? -
You have to be a shifter. A Shifter is just a human with special abilities.
For power, you can choose if you want to just find out your a shifter, or if you already know. I don't think you can become over-powered, but you can become more powerful then some of the other shifters. Shifters can control the gravity of anything appx. 1.5m away from them. Learning is just figuring out how to control your powers. Because when you use them, people can get caught up in it.
