Oak was busy getting his starters ready. He was highly excited. A trainer, (he couldn't remember their name), was going to start his journey.

Gary walks in. Hi Professor Oak. Im ready for a starter pokemon. I am OFFICIALLY ten!

"Good job, my boy." Oak exclaimed. He tapped the container that held the three pokeballs. "Care to come over and pick?"

*sees pokeballs* *chooses one in the middle* I believe this is a Squirtle?

Oak nodded. He put a smile on his face. "Yes."

Oh ok. Do i get the pokedex?

Oak nodded, freezing ashamed for not previously giving it to him. "Yes, yes. Over here, Gary."

Oak lead him to a table. He picked it up, handing it over. Along with the pokedex, he handed over five pokeballs. -
(yes, i called but no one answered.)
What does the pokedex do? -
(Sorry. Was using the restroom. You can try again if you want.)
"Well, it tells you what each Pokemon is. Try it with your new Pokemon. It'll give you some great info on your Pokemon." -
uses pokedex.
Squirtle: The Tiny shell pokemon. It shelters itself in its shell then strikes back with spouts of water at every opportunity.
