I forget my note is on the ground and read it. I nod "I understand, he needs time" My stomach turns and I feel like screaming and crying instead but I don't show it.

"I'm sorry about him" I said. I hug you and smile.

I smile "It's okay, I understand" I nod smiling at you.
(Don't forget I dropped the note from when Ronnie and I met after 2 months) -
I look at you then at the ground. Theres a paper on the ground and I pick it up. "What's this?" I ask.

I panic and say "It's just something I dropped"

I open it and see Ronnie's name at the bottom. "Ronnie!" I said.

I try to take it from you "Emily...please don't read that note."

I move and look at it. I read half as you take it out of my hands. "He really did love you" I said.

I look at it "I'm fine. He did, the past tense. " I feel my stomach turn again.

"He still does" I said. I look at you and hug you. "I'm sorry" I said.

I feel a tear and hold it back "Emily, really I'm fine" I say smiling holding it all back.

"Okay, Well I have to go" I said. I look at you and smile. "Don't do anything stupid" I said.

I smile "Like I said I'm fine." I wait for you to walk away and grab my bag. I pull out the photos, notes, and your football jersey you gave me.

I walk out and go to my moms house. "Hey mom". "Hey Emily" She said. I look at her then say "Ronnie ran away" I said. They look at me and say "What?". "Yeah, He ran away" I said.

I put everything away and my eyes turn red. I calm down and smile going back out with the girls. We cheer for another 30 minutes. I decide to head over to Ronnie's mom's house to visit her. I take Rylan and Nikki along. I ring the doorbell. My hair and eyes still charmingly perfect.
