At about 630, Ben woke up. Feeling Ali in his arms, he smiled, "morning, darling."

"Morning babe." She smiled softly at him and gentle kissed his lips. She closed her eyes for a moment, letting herself listen to his heart beat.

"How'd you sleep?" he asked after their kiss.

"Perfect." She lied easily. She hated lying but.. It protected him. "You?" She already knew this answer but she didn't let anything slip.

"Pretty good, with you," he smiled. "Want me to make breakfast?"

"I got it." She lept up and walked towards the kitchen and started getting thing outs.

Ben followed her, smiling. He leaned against a counter, out of her way.

She put her black hair up ini a messy bun ontop of her head and went to work. She buste eggs into a bowl and mixed in cheese and bacon bits. She started making inlets and pancakes.

"Want any help?" he asked.

"No, just sit down." She smiled as a pleasant aroma filled the air.

Ben nodded, and set the table for them. He waited by the table for her.

She brought plates of chocolate chip pancakes and inlets. "Eat up." She smiled handing him a fork, butter, and syrup.

Ben pulled out a chair for her, "thank you," he smiled, waiting for her to sit.

She took the chair and started to eat slowly. Spacing out and thinking.

Ben sat across from her, eating quickly. "This is really good."
