For some reason, Digital Summer's somewhat sad melody Shallow began to play in his head... Ally's theme song to him... -
-grabs his hand- Come on princess. -closes eyes and when she opend them they were on the other side-

He opened his eyes, "I'm either dreaming, or that Viking came through for me," Michael said. He hadn't lost much of his physique, but his voice was like Christian Bale's.

Grins "Im here. Now get him untied I shall be back." She walks out the door and finds two guards she quickly takes care of.

Mattias: Quickly runs over and cuts him free.
He stood, shakily at first, but he focused, and felt their link reestablish. -
Walks back out wiping her chin and mouth. "Come on you two." She wrapped an arm around his waist then grabbed Matt's wrist. She pulled them through the wall.

He smiled, and looked around at the carnage. "I told you she was Death's Angel," he told Matt.

She led them through the tunnels and back to her island. "Welcome home." She smiled hugging him.

Michael smiled, and hugged her back tightly. "I missed you, so much," he whispered to her.
Behind them, Mattias heard movement, and when he looked back, he yelled out "we were followed!" He tugged a gernade off his belt and let it fly.
It really wasn't anyone's fault. As the explosive detonated, one soldier's hand compressed the trigger of his rifle. Resulting in a spray of automatic fire, one bullet, bouncing off the cave walls, had a name on it. That slug hit Michael's head, and he fell over, dead, in the arms of his best friend. However, there was no blood splatter, just his body, pixelating into light as it disappeared. -
