Fay sat in her room, sharpening one of her knives. She fingered the scar on her cheek, then carefully placed the knife on her bedside table.
Hunter couldn't sleep. He was having the nightmare again. The one where he was made to kill his sister. She's evil, he knows, but he also knows it isn't her fault. He wakes up drenched in sweat. -

Darla woke up and found herself floating again. It's a bad habit. She opened her window and breathed in the fresh air to freshen herself up. She walked downstairs to find her mom on the phone. So nothing new. Except, her mom looked worried.
Josh lied in bed and counted to three and his sister came in. "Josh! Mom-" His sister started. "Mom want me to go and eat breakfast." John finished. His sister glared at him and told him not to show off his powers. He went to go eat. -

Fay walked outside, breathing in the morning air. It felt fresh, and new. She bit into some toast as she sat down next to Ty, the person who owned the house. "Mornin'" he said, not looking up from his book. He was dressed in a casual red t-shirt and jeans. Fay nodded at him, then stared off into the distance.
Hunter sat bolt upright. "Breakfast's ready!" Called a voice from downstairs, and he shook himself. "Don't be stupid, Hunter. Of course they aren't here." He said to himself as he pushed away the covers and hurried downstairs. -
