Moss didn't answer again. She laid down, then stretched out on the dusty floor
(the Heal Wolf den is like this: It's surrounded by tall grass. in the center of it, there is a small, dusty clearing. There is a spot of it where there is very rich dirt, where they can grow plants to make herbs. It is very sunny. When it is rainy, there is a small hole in the ground in the middle so they can sleep in there. There is also a small pond off to the side) -
"But why can't healers have mates? Alphas are busy too but they can have mates."

"Well, alpha's have to have pups. They keep the pack going. Us heal wolves...well, The SkyPack (StarClan) made this wolf reborn. Her name was Grassy (lol). She was a Heal Wolf, and she had a pup. But something went terribly wrong. Heal Wolves deal with so many herbs, the wolf in their bellies are poisoned, because they are more vulnerable and exposed. They either die, or get born then die. " -
"That is not fair." Cinder barked.

"yeah. I had a pup once," Moss murmured, getting up then checking on the plants growing in the patch of soil. It was Mint. Grunting, then dug it up, then put it on the ground.

"Were you healer when you got that pup?"

(ignore the whole "heal wolves cant have pups. I meant to say that they just cant, its against the code)
"Yes. Her name was Lily," Moss murmured, picking up the mint then replanting it. She stared at her reflection in the small pond, watching the small fish. -
"Is she still alive?"

"N-no. She was caught in battle, then never came back," Moss murmured, gazing into the depths of the pool, eyes misty and troubled.

"So only Skypack knows..."

"Yes. She hasn't visited me in her dreams, and she disappered without a trace. Who knows. She was the cutest. Only a year old." Her voice cracked, but she bit her lip, trying not to cry.

Cinder crept closer, and layed down next to Moss.

Moss continued, "She had a pointy little nose, and the cutest ears. She was reddish-brown.... just like a fox. She had those sparkling green eyes... I don't know what happened. I know that I broke the Wolf Code, but SkyPack told me one day that it's my life, I can choose what I want to do. I guess it was a bad choice." Moss was unaware that Cinder was next to her. her eyes misted up, then she blacked out.
