She cut through some trees and past a boulder. "Over there." She spoke, pointing toward a small pond.

He looked at the pond and smiled. "Alright just give me a minute or two." He found the tree and jumped up from limb to limb.

She stood by the tree and watched him.

He got high enough on a bare branch and spread his wings out, the feathers glimmered in the sunlight.

She gasped and watched carefully.

He smiled down at her and ran off the branch, spreading his wings farther and he started flying.

She gazed at him and her mouth dropped.

He kept flying and closed his eyes absorbing the exercise of his wings.

"Wow.." she whispered,staring at his wings.

He glanced down and flashed a smile at Jolene. He started to fly lower and floated neat her, his wings flapping slowly.

"That's so...cool." She managed.

He grinned at her and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Hold on tight." He started going farther away from the ground.

She squealed and cling to him.

He laughed lightly in her ear as the flew above the trees.
