She smiled as well, holding out a hand.

The deer sniffed Jolene's hand and licked it. He chuckled lightly and petted its head.

She giggled and watched it, carefully.

The deer nuzzled her hand, wanting her to pet it. Ed kept petting his deer and heard a twig snap. The deer raised their heads and bolted.

Jolene frowned, watching them run away then she looked around.

He raised his head up and blinked. "Are any of your family hunting today?"

"I think so." She replied. Her eyes scan around.

"What ever the deer heard couldn't be good..." He picked her up bridal style and jumped up carefully to a sturdy branch with his angelic strength.

"Woah..." She whispered, staring up at him.
(Gtg. Night~) -
He blushed lightly. "Sorry I should have warned you..." He held her closer to his chest and saw two men pass through the brush.

She glued her eyes on him and watched them.

They were human, he was glad about that. He guessed they were from her tribe. "Ever seen those two around?" He whispered lightly.

"We stay in groups so I think. I can't remember. I have a big family." She replied.

"I see...." he glared slightly at them. If they found her with him something bad would happen. "I feel like doing something stupid."
