She followed after the others and saw the table. she sat down and didnt touch anything. she avoided any gaze from Effie or Daniel.

"Just wait, Mr.___ will be here in a minute. Eat!" Effie said with a bright smile before disappearing into her room. Daniel sighed and crossed his arms over his chest, leaning back in his red chair, staring at the delicious smelling food infront of him.

Evan sighed. She hated silance but didnt have the heart to speak. she just got take from her only home. not like she has anyone other than Lilith to be with.

"Oh, f--- it." he mumbled, giving into the tempting food infront of him as he grabbed a roll of bread and stuffed it in his mouth.

She blinked and looked up. She giggled watching him eat. She glanced at the food and didnt touch any of it. -
"What? Aren't you hungry?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at her as he grabbed the bowl of shrimp and poured at least 7 into his mouth.

"No..." Her voice came out soft. True she was, but she didn't have an appetite knowing what will happen to both of them.

"Ok then...." He muttered. Haymitch burst into the room with a flask in his hand. "Children, children! Calm down with the food, will ya?"

Evan jumped a bit in her seat and let out a small noise. She didnt like loud noises.

Daniel rolled his eyes and put the empty bowl down. Haymitch sat down at the table across from the 2 tributes. "So, you guys excited?"

Evan gave him a cold look and muttered something about a drunken old b------ before she said something. "Do you think we are excited about dying...?"

Haymitch let out a loud laugh. "Down be a debby downer! You gotta try. You won't die if you do what I did."
