Sara smiled at him. "Hi." she said, peddling around in the water,

"Are you sure? She looks a lot like the girl you were supposed to kill." Sam raised an eyebrow.
"Yes I'm sure. Gosh Sam, just go home." Andrew shooed him away.
"Ok.. Ok." Sam started to walk away. -
Sara went underwater and came back up under the waterfall, giving Andrew a look that said "Why didn't you ask him why your clan wants me dead?"

He just shrugged and did the same. "I'll ask next time."

"You better." she said, swimming up next to him.

"Don't worry about it anyway.." he trailed, and hugged her from behind. "I'm not gonna let them get you."

She smiled at him. And then realization hit her like a lightning bolt. She pulled away from him and stared, thinking.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

"T-this....can't happen." she mumbled, looking away from him. "First of all, i'm gonna get older and die, and you're always gonna stay 17. And......if a vampire get attatched to someone....they wont be able to leave them. They'll kill for them, die without them, will want to mark them as their own. Right?"
(SAY YESSSSSSSSSS.) -
"Yeah.." He looked down.

Sara tooked a deep breath and looked up at him. "And you never brought that into consideration last night?"

"I wasn't thinking.." He looked away.

"Well, nice job, you idiot, you should of just killed me when you had the chance." she muttered, walking out of the water and wrapping her towel around her. "I really do hope you realize that I don't want to see you again." she said to him before leaving the lake.

A few tears ran down her cheeks as she walked home and slammed the door behind her. How could she of been so stupid?
