I look up at sera "im a sophomore," I say"what about you two?" I feel my cat brush against me

"I was in 11th grade." Her cat brushed Chloe's legs. The scent of its blood washed up into my face. Ugg no. Stop it.

I stayed quiet, not making any eye contact. "Hm." That's a little wierd.

I picked my cat up and started to pet her in my lap."what grade are you in jace?" I ask turning to face him

"Same as her." I jerked my chin at Sera then glanced back at Chloe.

I nod and stop breathing through my nose. I have some control issues. Humans okay, animals not so much. Sometimes.

I shift away from the cat and calm myself down. I have to get myself under control.
