"S-sorry...." he said, crouching down next to her. "We need to get to a cvs. Now."

He looked at her with narrowed eyes. "You're not ok....." he said, quickly taking his shirt off and throwing it to her side. "Hold that over the bite for a while. There's a CVS about a mile from here. Can you walk?"

"Come on," he said, slinging his backpack and gun over his shoulder. He grabbed her arm and helped her up.

"Me too..." he said. "This isn't going to work..." Jake said with a frown. "Ok, can you stay in the cave for a while, while I go and get the anti-venom?"

He carried her to the cave and layed her down gently. "I will, I promise." he said, kissing her cheek before he ran off.

He ran out of the forest and into the backyard of houses. It was safer there. He ran down the street and turned the corner to see an army of drones. He ducked behind a garbage can.
