  I flashed my eyes open the next morning look over to my side, blinking back the sleeplyness.

  My slumber slowly became lighter. I groaned as light started seeping through.

  I smiled and sat up, watching him. "You awake?" I whispered.

  "Good. Are you hungry?" I asked, smiling. He was warm.

  I nodded. "Very." I mumbled, my voice cracking in a couple places.

  I shifted a little, getting up and stretching. "Let's make you something, shall we?" I smiled, holding out a hand.
