  I'm not sure what I believe, as far as religion. I began with Christianity, then drifted away from it since I did not like the ritualized, repetitive organized religion.
  So I stayed with Christianity for a while, but didn't go to church or anything like that. But even then I wasn't that into it, and began drifting away from the belief itself. The first and official reason being things like how I have some devout Christian relatives who beat their wives and do not permit them to speak their mind, for that is what "God wanted them to do" and the Book of Timothy. I will sooner burn in hell than serve the God of Sexism.
  Other reasons include being demonized by the majority of Christians, homophobia, and their terrifying lack of logic.
  
  
  So what do I believe now? I'm not certain. What I know for sure is that there is a higher power of some sort (not necessarily a god) and that death is not the end, especially since energy cannot be destroyed (First Law of Thermodynamics, anyone?).

  I started out Christian as well, but now I don't truly believe in any religion. They all have their pros and cons, more cons than anything, I honestly no longer care if a higher being exists.
