I personally like the Family Guy episode where Christianity never existed. When you get AIDs, you just take Psudafed. Now that would be pretty cool.

We still are. We're still around 300 years behind schedule.

Because exploring the world God gave us is bad, kids. It's like we might find disproof of God's existence, and even if it's out there all we have to do is ignore it and it isn't true. Just like the poor people who die of lack of food every day even though we have tons of money and time to give them, or the fact that God would have wanted us to appreciate our environment and help our fellow creatures.
