Likeaboss NovicePeople expect me to respect teur religion yet they can hate in mine? That majes no sense! I respect everyones religion until they dis mine, its just not fair how they want something they cant do in return. Some people hate me for what oother Christains have saig.I know life isn't fsir yadda yadda yadda but ugh... Why should I respect your religion if you don't do the same for mine? Or if you judge my belief in God based on what others say. All coments rukde or not will be taken with a smile so go ahead and write whats on your mind.

nikorb NewbieI feel your pain.
People become more couragious behind the keyboard and dont always listen.
Why would anyone request not to be prayed for?
Even if you dont believe in prayer, the person is praying for your wellfare.
If anyone would notice, I only really post anything on here to defend or back my beliefs.
"Peoples is peoples." (The Mupets Take Manhatten)
yup.
RESPECT. Please show some. -
I disrespect all religion.
I disrespect ignorance.
I disrespect hateful slander based on a piece of fictitious literature.
You are guilty of all 3.
I disrespect you. -
MoonlightNinja NewbieSomeone who is disrespectful will not earn the respect from other people
Someone who is rasict to someone's religion says a lot about themselves
As much as I dislike someone who bashes on my religion, I do not bash back. It's ignorant to say something to someone to whom you do not know. None of us know if there is really a God, but few choose to believe while others don't. The ones who do not believe, but respect ones belief is one who is mature and intelligent. One who believes and respect the nonbeliever is also mature and intelligent.
I maybe young, but someone my age would never stand up like I have, no one my age would have said something like that. I know what you people are saying, from both sides, but swearing, rude opinions and remarks, they all prove nothing.
What you say to us, it is bullying. Bullying cause suicide each year. Words hurt more than you think. What you say here, it says something. To you, I might sound ignorant, but to me, if you disrespect me and someone who is polite, you are ignorant to us.
I know you will bash me when I post this. People will hate on anyone for what they like or believe.
It's like saying this: do you see God? Can you touch God? No. But can you see your brain (pictures of other brains don't count)? Can you touch your brain? No. It's the same thing. We can't see or touch God, but we believe there is one.
Can't we just make peace? Can't we just stop fighting and accept each other. If not, then you aren't mature enough for the things to come in life. Life is unfair, I know. But stop the fighting, it won't prove anything.
Bet most of you didn't even read this. I know, it's long :/ -
Actually, I read all of it and giggled the entire time.
You're right, I will bash this. Let me make a list.
#1 I don't want your respect. I want you to think.
#2 Racist has nothing to do with this. Look at your root words. See #1.
#3 Respect has to be earned. I do not respect ignorance or a hateful cult. I do not respect you and therefor could care less what you think of my intelligence or maturity.
#4 If you have to tell people you're mature... you're usually not.
#5 I haven't said anything rude or swore at all in this thread. Further more, I consider religion to be offensive and "God" is a curse word.
#6 809 million people have been estimated to have died in religious wars. Average that down and it's 404,500 murders per year.
#7 An average of 4,400 suicides are estimated per year. So pretending that every single suicide we have this year is a religious person feeling bullied online by an atheist, you still have us beat by 4 hundred thousand per year. See #6.
#8 Believe it or not, the rudest thing I could do would be to say nothing.
#9 Do you believe in Allah? No? Well I can see other people's brains, and couple that with equipment that can be explained scientifically and can show me my own, I am reasonably sure that I have a brain. A brain and a God are not the same thing. He may be in your head, but he isn't physically there.
#10 No. I will not make peace. Religion had it's chance to make peace and time and time again they screw it up. So no. I won't play nice with you people.
#11 You're right, fighting won't prove anything. But research will. And when you're fighting with research, it's more of a presentation of what you can prove, not the attempt at said proof. Just like your comparison to God and the brain, these are two very different things with nothing in common.
#12 See top of post. -
nikorb NewbieI think we can all agree that barberbob2 is not a very good person.
Even so, he is still a person.
Maybe one day he will grow up.
And I know that he would reply saying "YOU grow up, you ignorant person whom I would never respect!" if I hadnt just written it.
Oh well, if he wants to act like that, he can.
It sure doesnt seem to impress anyone. -
That last sentence... that one, right there...
it made me giggle again. -

bobbybobman Newbiemoonlight ninja, i am proud of you. you deserve a cookie.:D that was a good speech. how old are you? i am only 15.
-
nikorb NewbieYeah. Have a cookie from bobbybobman.
Then go and clear the cookies from your computer. -
No, I do not agree that Bob is "not a very good person". Bob is intelligent, trustworthy, and tolerant, things I would generally consider good traits. It is no surprise that fundamentalist Christians like you would be unable to see that, as fundamentalists are almost always ignorant, backhanded bigots. I beg of you to reexamine your values. You need not pray for me. If anyone needs prayer, it is you.

bobbybobman Newbiei think hes talking about me (bob).:p
