HugsAndKisses NewbieWell, I can't choose a religion to follow! I'm the only person I know who hasn't got a religion and I can't stand it any longer. And I don't want anyone putting it's up to you. What I want you to put is your religion, why I should choose it and a little bit about the religion like whats good and whats bad. Thanks!

I would highly recommend Christianity. Christianity is not so much a religion but a relationship with God; the one who created us.
God created the earth and everyone and everything upon it. It was very good. There was no suffering, anger or jealousy. God blesed us with free will. This means we are able to do as we please and it is not forsed love towards God.
Then Adam and Eve disobeyed. They turned against God. They were tricked by the devil. From that day on we were all born sinful. (Sin includes gossip, murder, rape, lies etc)
The punishment for sin is death. This is scary and terrible until we know we can be forgiven and have our sins taken away. Jesus came to earth. Jesus was fully man and fully God. He did no wrong and was perfect. Jesus died on the cross and took our sins away. Three days after death, Jesus rose from the dead because death could not hold him. For Jesus was perfect. If we accept Jesus as our savior we will be saved and our sins will be taken away. We will be made pure and holy.
Once we have prayed to God, asking for our forgiveness He will come into our hearts and we will be saved.
In order to continue in our faith we should read the bible and pray. Prayer is the most powerful thing we, as humans, can do.
When we die we will face judgement. If we have accepted Jesus as our savior we will live in heaven for eternity. In heaven there is peace, happiness and love.
If we do not accept Jesus as our savior we will go to hell for eternity. Hell is eternal separation from God. -
Atheism is the lack of belief in a theistic deity. We do not believe that a great wizard poofed all of existance into creation and sent his cosmic jewish zombie son to die for a punishment that that wizard gave us for being human.
Atheists do not have a church. We do not have to go regularly to any meetings. We do not have to feel guilty for being born. We do not fear damnation for not praising a wizard in the sky. Atheism is skepticism. We root ourselves in logic, reason, and science. We prefer learning why and how things work over saying "God did it" and leaving it at that.
Statistically Atheists have a higher IQ than any theistic group. Most of histories most favorable people have also been known to be atheists. Such as Carl Sagan, Douglas Adams, Lance Armstrong, Douglas Adams, and countless more.
I used to be Christian until I started doing my research. I read that book that ange praises so highly. It is full of murder, rape, beastiality, slavery, and mysogony. A so called, "good book" isn't as good as it seems. Religion will lie to you.
If you are truly an unbiased blank slate, give atheism a try. I think that after you see how full of holes theism is, you'll want to stay. -

Catholic. It's like Christianity, except you don't just pray to God. You also pray to Mary and the Saints. And you also do lent. Which is giving up 1 thing or doing something nice for however long lent is. And you also can't eat meat on Friday's during lent. But the meat thing is only if you're (I think) 14 and up.
