Mormons apparently believe in Christ. If you believe in Christ your Christian. Where did you think the word Christian came from?

Actually, mormon is different from Christians. True, they do believe in Christ, but they follow different beliefs and stuff.

I can't tell you how many times I've had to set people straght about this. Frankly it is getting tiresome, but I feel obligated to do so. Mormons are Christians. Catholics are Christians. Protestants are Christians. There are a billion sects of Christianity that believe different things, but they all agree that Jesus is their Lord and Savior. That is all it takes to be a Christian. You can call yourself Christian and never attend Church, but if you read the Bible and believe in Jesus you are still technically a Christian. Yes, the Mormons observe another book as well. Do you think the Bible is the only book any Christian ever reads? And yea, the Book of Mormon is all s--- that didn't happen, but so is the Old Testament. Any good Reformed Jewish rabbi will tell you the Old Testament stories are fables and not literal events. So quite frankly, you are being hypocritical when you nitpick about who is Christian and who is not.

My family is Mormon and shiz, but really right now I'm thinking I'm atheist, seeing as I've gave up on believing in a God. xP My religion and shit is just plain confusing right now.

I dont belive in it. I belive a long time ago that some one made it up just as a joke or for attention. I belive in something different entirely. Something that has proof. Magic. Not the fairy tale kind either. Just the elements.

Mormons have different beliefs than Christians. Ok, I will admit that we are Christians, as in, we believe in Christ. But, we are still different from them.
For example:
Christians believe that God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost are all one person.
Mormons believe that God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost are three different people. (Except for the Holy Ghost, because he is a spirit.)
@Tongue, the first half of that paragraph explains what I just said...The second half...well...for me is a lie. But we shouldnt fight about it. Because people have different beliefs. Right? XD
