Hunteriscool: God is strong, powerful and mighty. He created the earth and everything in it. God created you and I.
God would not create something he could not lift. God's strength is eternal and has no limit. By creating a rock that is too heavy to lift it is contradicting yourself. You can not say God is limited to human powers. God created the earth! He created love, compassion and faith! -

I don't care about what God would create. I care about what he can create. If he can do anything, shouldn't he be able to do this? But even if he could do this, it shows omnipotence is failed. -

Hunter: I looked in your other thread about the rock. You asked if God could create a rock so heavy that even He could not lift it. Whether the answer was yes or no God was limited to human powers.
God is NOT limited to human powers. By making a rock that was too heavy to lift you said God was weak because he couldn't hold the weight of it. However, if He could lift it he failed also. This contradicts. You can not do both. It is either one or the other.

If I do not believe in God, I therefore do not believe in the deadly 'sins' either. That, however, does not mean I am immoral, I do have a sense of what is right and what is wrong.
I set my own principles, I don't need somebody else to do it for me, least of all God and Jesus. I did not ask him to die for me and 'save' me, I do not accept him as my saviour because I never needed saving. He might be perfect, I certainly am not, but it doesn't mean I need saving. Please tell me you don't think a teenager like me could possibly have caused real harm to anyone but herself? So, is going to school, getting good grades, talking with friends then returning home and spending time with family a bad thing?

In this corrupted world we live in, the best all humans can hope for is religion? Christianity? Is that what you're implying? Religion is as full of pain, hatred and lies as anyone, even you or me.
I'm sorry, but I still fail to see how any of this is salvation. I only see more reasons for us to have wars, hunger and loneliness in the world. -
Loony Luna: You have not opened your heart and accepted Jesus as your savior. Because of this you will not believe God created you or that God created anything for that matter. God does not force himself into people's hearts. He waits for them to turn to Him.
Jesus is the only way to heaven. Through Him we will be saved. When we die we will live in heaven for eternity with God. Jesus came to earth. Jesus was fully man and fully God. Jesus died on the cross and took our sins away. Jesus then rose again. Death could not hold Him because he was perfect.
However, if we don't accept Jesus as our savior we have ignored God and live our own way with our own rules. By ignoring God's existence we are turning our backs on Him. Instead of living for God we are living for ourselves. Living for ourselves is living for the devil whether you realise it or not.
Ps How is Crhistianity full of pain, hatred and lies? How does Christianity mean more reasons for us to have wars, hunger and loneliness? -
MoonlightNinja NewbieOkay, so this ain't a question, I'm just stating an opinion.
To me, if I weren't a Christian, I would say I would be lost. I would be exposed to more hate and negative things. To me, God has been there when no one was for me. He blessed me with my gifts that I now know what to do with them. People who don't believe might think I'm crazy or something like that, but I've already incountered angels... Yep, crazy, right? But I can feel their presents sometimes... I have no idea why. But it's always when I'm feeling upset or something like that.
I believe in God. I'm a proud Christian.
Oh yeah, to me, why there is all the sin in the world, I think Satan somehow sends evil to the Earth, trying to overpower the good God sends down to us. Remember the story of Adam and Eve?
