Evert atom in your body came from a star that exploded. And, the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand. It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics: You are all stardust. You couldn't be here if stars hadn't exploded, and because the elements - the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution and for life - weren't created at the beginning of time. They were created in the nuclear furnace of stars, and the only way from them to get into your body is if those stars were kind enough to explode. So, forget Jesus. The stars died so that you could be here today.

LetsParty NewbieThat is all wrong.

Can I ask what makes you believe so? I can provide scientific evidence. And this wasn't even meant to start a s--- fight. So what can you honestly say to defend yourself?

Greatest I am NewbieI don't blame you T P.
Human sacrifice is immoral and so is trying to profit from it the way Christians do.
It was God's plan from the beginning to have Adam and Eve eat the forbidden fruit. This can be demonstrated by the fact that the bible says that Jesus "was crucified from the foundations of the Earth," that is to say, God planned to crucify Jesus as atonement for sin before he even created human beings or God damned sin.
If God had not intended humans to sin from the beginning, why did he build into the Creation this "solution" for sin? Why create a solution for a problem you do not anticipate?
God knew that the moment he said "don't eat from that tree," the die was cast. The eating was inevitable. Eve was merely following the plan.
This then begs the question.
What kind of God would plan and execute the murder of his own son when there was absolutely no need to?
Only an insane God. Thats who.
The cornerstone of Christianity is human sacrifice, thus showing its immorality.
One of Christianity's highest form of immorality is what they have done to women.
They have denied them equality and subjugated them to men.

Or a much more simple and believable solution would be that the bible was written by fallible men, and then rewritten over and over again to change with the times. Over time these fallible men missed a small detail and therefor left a loophole in their story.

Greatest I am NewbieScholars agree and they prove it.

SilverMoon8 Novicewtf are you talking about?

God created Adam and Eve. He gave them FREE WILL. He already knew they were going to eat the forbidden fruit (because He knows everything) so he sent his ONLY SON to die on the cross for us. It was a way to show how much He loves us and would do absolutely anything to protect us from any harm.
-
So God Created Adam and Eve knowing they would commit original sin. Then punished us for that original sin. And then sacrificed his own child to save us from the sin that he originally punished us with.
By the sound of that, God not only is a sick freak, he's also an egotistical douche bag, killing people so he can take the credit for fixing his own work. -
LetsParty NewbieThere is no such thing as original sin.
-
I don't think you understood me...
God. Create. Human.
Human. Get. Free Will.
God. Know. Everything.
Human. OUT OF OWN CHOICE. Commit sin.
God. Love. Us.
Gives. Up. Son.
The. End.
Wow, that was painfully hard work. :P
