  some People hate atheists i just want to know why. I know that for some people their religion is very important to them but why hate another person because they dont believe in what you do?

  Many reasons.
  
  'Because they're non-believers that deserve to go to hell' is the one I know best due to endless encounters of a--holed Christians.

  But I just don't get why everyone can't get along I mean if you met a really nice person would you stop being there friend just because what they believe in. But also it's not just Christians who hate atheists there's a lot of other religions as well

  Sometimes it is because atheists get overly righteous and try to convert people to their way of thinking. Overall though, it's moral absolutism, that you must believe in God or otherwise you're a sinner and a criminal.

  I'm a theist, and the only time I don't like atheists for what they are is when they call my ideas dumb or the like. This goes for anyone, I treat all religious ideas the same.

  Just because you don't agree with someone doesn't mean you should hate them. It's just narrow-minded silly. In fact, any religious person should know to hate someone is a sin.
