So the moral of the story is that if you're a cute little girl with a terminal illness, it's okay to believe in god?
I'm sorry, but my sympathys for god have been hardened by the extremists who cower behind their more even tempered friends. As long as belief without knowledge exists, there will always be those who will push it too far. The world may not be black and white, but the fact still remains that if you arent aiding in the progression of humanity, then you're part of the dead weight holding it down. The video was sad, and meaningful, but other than feeling bad for the girls situation, religion gets no sympathy from me. -

tongue AdvancedHonestly, if someone is on their deathbed and it's really not gonna matter when they die, I'll leave them to their delusions of hope if those delusions are enough to help them cope with impending death. I don't know how an atheist copes with dying, but it's gonna be interesting to find out for myself.
