I think that would be fair of them. The idea of a parent raising their child up in a religion they would like to see them practice is fine with me. Anyways, once your 18, they don't have control of what you do.

tongue AdvancedYea, but they've still put you through alot of s--- that could be potentially traumatizing. Can you imagine growing up in a Scientologist household? What about the Children of God? They advocate sexual relations between parents and children. You can ask anyone who came from a strictly religious household- the stifling of creativity and the iron hand of moral absolutism stays with you forever.

tongue AdvancedBut how can morality be clearly determined? Morality depends greatly on our own concepts of what is right and wrong. I have no clue how anyone can determine that it is morally acceptable to have sex with children, but these are still things that parents will attempt to instill in their children. There is no "good religion" or "bad religion", there is only religion. Everything is under the same umbrella.
