THIS WILL SOUND CORNY I JUST KNOW IT
An atheist scientist, going on a quest to disprove the existence of God, discovered what happened before the Big Bang.
Apparently the atoms and other crap that exploded and created what we know as “THE UNIVERSE†were created by some “vibrations.â€
In other news, according to many experiences of dying and coming back alive, death feels like “you’re going onto a new level of ‘vibrations.’â€
‘Vibrations’ again? Really now?
The idea is, the afterworld is comprised of vibrations. The great vibration of vibrations (sounds silly but really, go to the website) is what began it all.
This ‘great vibration of vibrations’ sounds a LOT like what this scientist was referring to- creating something from ‘nothing.’
(Please note that nowhere in this did I say God is a bunch of vibrations. I’m just pointing out that it looks like the general concept of all religions- there is a creator, living things stemmed from this creator, and the living things come back to the creator after dying.)
I mention this thing a lot, but I just had to add another point that fit in with it.
Go ahead, be all nitpicky and try to find faults in my words (I'm sure they'll be there), but I just find this concept damn interesting. -
One of humanities greatest questions is, "Where did the universe come from?" Now most of the religious community will claim that, "Well it came from God. God created the universe." Well this raises the next obvious question. "Where did God come from?" The religious community will claim that he has always been here. Well why not just save an extra step? Why not simply say that the universe has always been here?
~Carl Sagan -
I was pointing out how damn similar this thing is to the concept all religions have about creation.
I can see this going around in circles now. -
Nah, I'm not going to argue with you Appay. Your quote there just reminded me of a quote that is similar. So I decided to post it.
