This thread is open to everyone, regardless on your beliefs. Debate and discussion is welcome and encouraged.
I am curious what you think happens after we die, and or where you think the origin of life and the universe comes from. -
It is my personal belief that when you die you go to heaven or hell. I’m Christian and so I believe in Jesus, God, all that jazz.
Anyways, I also believe that you can look back on your family after you die—not in ghost form, but just watching from afar.
As for the origin of the universe, I believe God made the Earth, but that’s as far as I look into things. The whole thing that everything has no beginning really throws me off my game, as does any other theory, so I just don’t look into it that much—although from what I’ve heard, the Big Bang theory might be the most plausible, in my opinion. -
I believe the Big Bang was how our universe originated. It's the leading theory at the moment, and scientists have strong evidence, so there's no reason not to believe it.
As for the afterlife, there is none. We exist only in our short timespan on Earth, and in the memories of those we leave behind. After we die, that's it. -
I am agnostic, which means I believe that the existence of god and the supernatural and stuff generally around those topics are unknown and that we can't be 100% sure that they exist or not.
However, I do also believe in reincarnation. Very few people know that about me, but I am a Feline Therian. One of the shifts I get from being a Therian is dream shifts. On multiple occasions, I have had memories of my past life, a lot of them re-occurring in the same places, which had led me to believe that these are from my past life.
(I will touch more on my Therianthropy sooner or later in a separate thread once I'm ready to be more open about it, but that was not the point I was trying to make lol)
On the point of what I think the origin of life and the universe come from, I just think of the Big Bang theory. I can't really say where I stand on that point, I just look to science.
