Untill i was about 9 or 10, i never believed there was a God. I was a really bad person then. I practiced magic and all kinds of dark things. I thought there was no consequence for my sin. I lied, stole, hated, and did bad things to others. I was from a family which believed in witchcraft and paganism. Christianity was not to even be mentioned.
It all happened one day. I saw a kid my age get beat up. He was totally hurt and bruised. He told them 'God bless you'. Then i began to wonder. Who was this God? I started asking questions. Long story cutshort, i realised my wrongs. He was waiting for me all along. He loved me despite my wrong. There was no one who would forgive me, but he did. From that day i turned a new leaf. My family didn't approve. My parents were furious. But He said:
'the wages of sin in death, but the gift of God is eternal life'

He wanted a better life for me, even after this one. There's no greater love than his. I couldn't continue to live lawless. His promise to me was greater than any other: eternal life. My own selfish ways would lead to my destruction. I won't say that i'm the best, but my life has definately changed since then. I know that one day i'll meet him there one day. His name is Jesus.
