Bob, what I was doing was not stereotyping. I said ahead of time that I was not addressing the whole Muslim community. Also, I found these facts in a TIME magazine.
And I believe this is the religion section. The whole point of this is to debate religion. If you believe I am wrong, please educate me. I believe that this forum is to learn to be more open minded. So I think that this is the appropriate place to debate this. Let me know if I am wrong. -

Someone asked if they would be safe to talk about their religion here and the first thing you say is that you wouldnt want to talk to anyone who is Muslim. That is what makes this the wrong place. Also, no one is debating religion in this thread. If you want to debate religion start a thread where we can debate. Doing stuff like this is what caused a massive site wide civil war that we only recently came out of. I'd rather not plant the seeds of a new one so soon. -
tongue AdvancedI can except a Jehovah's Witness. There are other Christians on this site, and I don't really make any distinction between denominations.

I'm sorry. I may have phrased it wrong if that's what it sounded like. The thread is what religion wouldn't you except. And I made it more personal than it was meant to be. On gotoquiz, it's not really my option anyway. Sorry for causing a disruption.

Oh, and those douchebags who kicked u out of the site probably dont know the meaning of life.... Personaly, i love to meet people from different religions, my goal in life is to be friends with people from each and every religion, i dont know whether thats possible or what u thinking about me right now....xD.... @musicgirl, i read ur posts and i was kinda offended...
I also am a muslim and I hardly ever heard that ONLY muslims do arranged marriage...it is true that some muslim girls get married early...i also dont like that, but it doesnt mean only muslims do that.
People in other relegions also do that...though it might be very rare.
Also, @musicgirl, i know you are very sorry...so..no hard feelings, i know u didnt mean to hurt any1's feelings and im glad u said that :) -

tongue AdvancedIt was very common in Europe until the Renaissance to arrange marraiges between teenagers. Europe at the time was officially a Christian land. So yea, obviously arranged marraige isn't exclusive to Islam. It's also very common in Hinduism.
