Let me put it this way.
Who would write so many books in the bible and not lose motivation?
In Genesis it says He created you. -
The books were written by people to control people. Peoples motivation for writing the books was power. It's a simple explanation.

Even with power mentioned, I would honestly have no motivation whatsoever to do something to get it. :P
And how would they get power through that? -
Pretty simple. They personally held the values that the bible teaches and they wrote the bible so they'd have a religion they could use to force the values on people

Why do you worship a cross if he died on one

@Quiz - We don't worship the cross, we use it as a symbol of his love because when he died for us on that cross, it was the greatest sacrifice that humanity had ever received. It's a reminder of how much he loves us and that we are not alone <3
