  My friend's little brother has been having seizures.
  He says when it happens, he smells this really weird smell, and he sees a bunch of people who "look like they're from George Washington's time" walking around and talking to him, even though they really aren't there. And then he gets really, really tired, and then it's over.
  
  I'm not saying this explains all ghost stories and all ghost stories have been proven wrong now, so don't freak out yet. xD But it could explain quite a few. I've read several ghost storiees that start with "I smelled this really weird smell..."
  Maybe they're having a seizure. :/

  Nah they can't all having seizures. I think ghosts are real.

  I was trying hard to explain this in the post...apparently I failed. :P
  I don't think ALL ghost stories are from people having seizures. I said it could explain SOME of them.
