KarkittenV69 NewbieDont hate me. Anyway, im what one may call 'atheist'..So heres my OPINION on 'god' and such....I honestly believe people made up heaven, hell, god, etc. to comfort themselves about death. if they made up an afterlife, good or bad, there would still be something...but thats just my OPINION. I think the U.S. is a bible crazed country, not saying that christians force their religion onto people because i dont/wouldnt know, im just saying america needs to get the bible outta their behinds and accept people for who they are, not what the bible says. yes, i am referancing gay rights. people should love who they want, not listen to what a BOOK tells them to....but thats beside the point. I wasnt trying to be rude here,or go against christianity and your beliefs here. i have friends who are christian and i respect that, therefore i respect that you may be christian whoever is reading this...if not, thats cool bro, if you are, thats cool tooo....im just stating my OPINION..

I am what one would call a Christian :) I am a part of the Lutheran branch of Christianity. I don't know if I'm a weird Christian, or what, but I don't see any difference between straight, gay, bi, or anything else that a person might be. It is not their fault, nor should they have to hide, their sexual orientation. I believe that truly. The only thing that any of those words mean to me is this: ~I love people. Maybe my sex. Maybe the opposite. Maybe both. Maybe I don't know.~
I think that it is wrong for anybody to tell another person to love the opposite gender. That would be like all of the gays/ lesbians gathering up the straight people and telling them to love and marry only their own sex. It would be disgusting. We should love who we want, when we want, and for our own reasons.
I don't know what the Bible says about all that... Maybe it disapproves, and if it does, I don't care. I DO care about Jesus, and the fellowship, and the way I treat others. I agree with you somewhat, Karkitten. Gays deserve every right as much as straights, and vice versa. -
P. S. I don't hate you. It is against my religion. I am commanded by the Lord to love my neighbor as myself. I love you in a brotherly/ sisterly way. I disagree with some of the things you said, but I love you.
