I'm sorry, but I'm someone who stood to the sides to watch both ends, and an avid supporter of my Christian friends despite our disagreements
barberbob2 is correct. You are idolizing someone who shares ideals with The Westboro Baptist Church, a church that has been legally recognized as a hate group and petitions at funerals of soldiers. A church that has been banned admission in Canada and the UK. It is not a good thing I assure you. -
The difference being constructive insulting and just generally trying to shame others. I have no issue what so ever with you guys wanting to talk about your religion. My only complaint is the same one I had with damask.
If you're going to argue about your faith, be professional and have an actual f---ing debate. Don't just sit there and spew off curses and profanities. Don't stick your head in the sand and ignore everyone else. Make it a debate.
I personally prefer socratic debate. But as long as you're actually willing to DEBATE instead of just shouting your crap like a broken recorder, then I welcome you. -
I have not been trained to idolize them because the only person we are supposed to idolize is God :)

The only people who didn't dislike damask were the little kids who were so desperate to make friends with everyone that they turned a blind eye to how bigoted and immature she acted.

Horse, that is idol worship to a T.
And we are posting so fast because we finally got rid of the most rude and condescending person on this site. We finally got the person who came on here to tell us she hated us all and that we were all going to hell for not following her faith. The person who compared homosexuality to a mental disorder, non believers to mental patients, and was so violently bigoted about her beliefs that her own church scolded her for giving them such a bad name.
We finally got rid of that person. And for 25 days we lived in happiness.
And then you guys came on here and started claiming you wanted to be the "new and improved" versions of her. And yet even as we tell you that this person is the scum of the earth it only seems to strengthen your resolve to be violently ignorant and bigoted.
THAT IS WHY WE'RE POSTING SO FAST. -
