NEW RULES FOR MY THREADS
- Come in, all are welcome as log as they are coming in to debate about religion, comment on my opinions, whatever.
- The people I do NOT want in my threads are the ones who are going to criticize me for no apparent reason.
THIS FORUM IS FOR DEBATE DAMMIT!
You come in, you debate, you DON'T start blabbing about what other people are doing wrong or posting wrong.
You people obviously don't have a valid argument against my opinions because you come in here and you're like "Damask you're doing this all wrong and no one likes you because all you do is this and mess up this and we are sick of your s--- and you suck at this"
IF YOU WANT TO DEBATE OR SHARE YOUR OPINIONS, DO SO. IF YOU HAVE NO VALID ARGUMENT AND DECIDE TO CRITICIZE ME TO FILL IN THEN JUST LEAVE MY THREAD.

First of all I would like it to be known that the topic of this thread is the definition and application of debate in general. And how you feel you are being mistreated over such.
Debate: noun
1) a formal discussion on a particular topic in a public meeting or legislative assembly, in which opposing arguments are put forward with logic and reasoning.
You tell us to come and debate, and then act victimized when we get frustrated at you for not debating.

1. We do have valid arguments. You just never answer them with logic. And when we call you out for being unable to answer them, you play the victim and complain that we aren't on topic.
2. We tell you you're doing things wrong because you are attacking people and ignoring logic. Contrary to popular belief, we try to maintain a sense of professionalism and don't like it when new comers don't do the same.
3. We are sick of your s---.
We don't care if you share your opinions. It's when you tell other people they have a mental disorder, or that the world is s--- because it doesn't follow your exact moral code, or try and shame others for not being like you; THAT is when we take offense.
Have your damn opinions. I have a lot of opinions about you that I've kept to myself because even I know when what I'm saying will be too offensive.

You willingly admit that you aren't going to listen to logic and reasoning, and then get butt hurt when we don't try to use logic and reasoning to talk with you.
If you're just going to deny everything we say with "because god said so" then you aren't really debating. You're being a child. -

I don't mean you have to use logic and reasoning, or even "debate".
You can share your opinions against mine.
But instead you randomly criticize me because you don't have anything to say against my opinion. -
Because having an opinion not based on logic and reasoning is shallow and willfully ignorant. (there, that's my opinion).
I tried to appeal to your opinion and discuss the validity of it using common sense. You then denied common sense and complained that I wasn't discussing the topic. When in fact I was. Just not in the way you wanted me to. -

You assumed my post was criticism because a small part of it was. The majority of my early posts were still discussion. But that was ignored because you found I was criticizing you.
It's a human trait. A flaw in us all. You can see it all over this site. It doesn't matter what you say, if people find one thing they don't like about it, they will focus on that. Even if it has nothing to do with your original topic.
I'm guilty of it. I'll admit that. But so are you.
My early posts to you were genuine discussion. But you focused on the criticism in them and that' what you associate them with. -

I told you that I've only started to criticize you once you started ignoring my discussing.

It just seems like you post more to tell me what I'm doing wrong rather than post your own opinions. Your presence here seems pointless in that sense.

I can understand what you're getting at.
Believe it or not, I never start off that way. I always make a habit of genuinely talk to people. Even now, I'm enjoying that we can actually discuss this instead of fighting. -
True, you start out discussing decently. But then when I post something you just state everything I wrote wrong in that post e.e
