What is your definition of evil?
-
There's no such a thing as satan.

prant3 NewbieStrangeling: There's a verse from Ecclesiastes 9:5 that states, "The dead are conscious of nothing at all." Therefore nothing goes on to re-incarnate. The person is dead, no consciousness whatsoever. This negates a fiery hell of torment or even a blissful heaven.
In Genesis 6, it tells about the 'sons of God' or angels coming to earth and taking wives, all whom they desired. Their offspring were mighty men, giants and very violent. Soon after God made his plan to flood the Earth and destroy the giants. These giants formed the basis of the god-like humans of Greek mythology. Since the flood according to scripture, the demon angels are forbidden to take human form again. They are however invisably inhabiting the Earth and causing confusion and all the evil we see in the world. Soon though, that will end and 'God's Kingdom' will rule the Earth. Just as the prayer says, "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done......on Earth." We are deep into the final days of Satan's world. A look at the news will tell you that. -
prant3 NewbieViktor, If there's no Satan, then there's no Jesus Christ who spoke to Satan here on Earth. If there's no JC, then there's no God and so why are we even talking about it?
-
prant3 NewbieHephaestus, The Bible is a puzzle. The pieces may look like they don't fit but with enough study, research and especially prayer, they all fit and make a big picture. When you see the big picture, you'll know the truth.
Bacteria may evolve into other strains of bacteria but never into a human being. -
I know you said this to Strangeling, but I just have to say something to that:
You can't believe everything in the Bible. You do not know if the dead are conscious of everything or not. You do not know if reincarnation is real or not. The Bible was written by man, not god. You can only believe in what it says, but it might not all be true. -
"If there's no jesus christ there's no god"
If the legends of jesus christ are not true then the god in Bible doesn't exist, the christian god. -
I thing the bible is 95 percent WRONG. Oh, and I agree with Appayipyip42 on evolution.
-
Okay I have a question for squatter, Viktor, and DaughterOfApollo, If we "evolved" from monkeys or fish then why are there still fish and apes in the world? Why aren't we still evolving into something strange? And you know, there are people who have tried to prove the Bible wrong who failed and became Christians themselves. God, Jesus, and Saten are real. I don't want to offend anyone. You do not have to believe this if you do not want to.

Dogs came from wolves and there are still wolves. If god made us from dirt then why is there still dirt?
Because evolution takes place over a very very long period of time. We're taller than we were centuries ago.
Then how in the world could koalas get over to the Middle East for the Ark? If there were tigers and lions on the ship with zebras and pigs, then there wouldn't be any zebras and pigs because the lions and tigers would've eaten them. God, Jesus, and Satan may be real to you, but not to me. -
How do you know that dogs came from wolves? Yes, God made us from dirt, He made the first 2 people from dirt and then on they had kids, their kids had kids, ect. Did you know that Charles Darwin became a Christian before he died? Its a fact.
Koalas could get to the ark because- Look at a map of the world, If the world were a giant jigsaw puzzle than you can see where some of the peices go together.- they lived close by and it took 120 years to build the ark so they could have started before the ark was completed and gotten there with time to spare.
I do not know how to answer the question with the tigers and pigs. I didn't live in that time period (and thank God I didn't otherwise I wouldn't be here) all I kow is that God sent the animals to Noah and God must have pushed the tame button and the loins must not have eaten them. I dot know.
Its okay that they don't seem real to you, I am not trying to cram this down your throat.
If you guys have any questions I will try to answer them. -
prant3 Newbieluvhungergames2: You are on the right track. You know things others are confused about. On the ark, animals were at peace with one another and man as they were in the Garden of Eden. All were vegen. The Earth was more land than water back then. Things changed after the flood. Animals were now in fear of man and became meat eaters just like man did.
The problem with these forums is they are open to any opinion no matter how unfounded and farfetched. You can not reason with some people and you certainly don't need to apologize for that. Keep searching and believing.
