Atheists don't believe in any religion or don't believe in any religion AND any god?
I see people using both terms here to say they are atheist. -
So which is the true definition?

I think you mean
Believe in things like an afterlife and spirits (thus requiring religion) but not god
or
Believe in absolutely nothing, no afterlife, no spirits, no god, nothing of the sort
?
I personally don't know, technically the word "atheist" means "without god" and doesn't really reference anything else, but nearly all people I've heard call themselves "atheist" don't believe in anything, god or similar. -
Believing in another world doesn't require religion,to believe in religion you must believe in many religion-related superstitions.
Believing in no god is the right definition.But still some people see it as believing in no religion.
