Which is which?
I think an Apatheist is a person who doesn't care if a deity exists or not, while an Agnostic person doesn't feel as though he or she has enough knowledge to decide if there is a deity or not.
A friend of mine, who is claiming that I'm being a b---- by telling him he is actually wrong about believing that the definition of an Agnostic person is the same as an Apatheist person, believes otherwise. Therefore, I am here to see who is right, because until I can be either proven right or wrong by something other than the dictionary, he refuses to talk to me. -
You're correct on both definitions. It's the difference between ignorance (I don't know) and apathy (I don't care).

Thank you.
