Yup, black's a shade in the greyscale, people consider it a colour, but a shade in the greyscale is more like 'lack of colour' rather than a colour.

No. I don't understand how black is lack of color. It's every color mixed together. Lack of color is white. >.> no one really gets what I mean by that.

Alright, lemme try to explain this
This stuff is determined by the colour receptors i your eyes, and the colour refracting from light and s---
white, is every colour mixed together, try shooting white light through a prism, and it should shoot out rainbows (not s---ting you, rainbows should come out of it)
Black, is the absence of colour, as you don't need any of your colour receptors in your eyes to actually SEE it. Black is no colour, basically, while white, is every colour mixed together. -
As far as I know, no one truly has black eyes
They're just incredibly dark dark dark brown to the point it appears black, but if you shine a light directly above the eye, it should show some sort of brown. -
Ah. I haven't seen too many with eyes even just that dark. ._. Even for Asians, most I've seen are lighter brown. Not like that dark.

Really? The ones I know have eyes that look like they're pitch black. Mine are like that too until you hold a light directly above it.

Yeah, they look dark, but not pitch black. Not many Asian people live in this town, but the few I've seen here or I'm pictures they're brown and yu can tell even from a distance. I havent tried shining a light over my eye lately so I wouldn't really know about mine. :/

I just wanna remark to the chick that started this thread.
@Blueeyedolly: Blue eyes, usually, are pretty colorless. I mean, a lot of blue eyes are pretty much the same as people's eyes who have albanism(?). There are only few people that are blessed with truly beautiful blue eyes. Green eyes are the kinda color that shine in the light, I think green eyes are pretty much the rarest color a person can get, but I'm not a genius, so I wouldnt be certain. And hazel, to answer your question in the big deal about them, they change colors. I'm pretty sure, from what you've said, that you have hazel. That is if you weren't lying. So yah.
And about the thing with brown eyes being ugly, you just need to shut up, right. The fact that you hate brown eyes so much is just stupid. From the way you're talking, it seems to me you would turn into a Hitler, but killing off brown-eyed people instead of Jews. Which would suck, since we take up most of the population of he earth. Plus, there are things that are good about brown eyes. Sometimes there can be flecks of different colors in brown eyes, like orange or green. Usually yellow. But yeah. So, there you have it.
