My first grade teacher taught us about silver, golden, and platinum birthdays.

Your silver birthday corresponds with your month.
Your golden birthday corresponds with your day.
Your platinum birthday corresponds with your year.

Let's take my birthday for example.
I was born on 12-18-97.
My silver birthday was my twelth.
My golden birthday will be my eighteenth.
My platinum birthday will be my ninety-seventh.

I don't think anything special is supposed to happen, just a fun little thing she made up x3

Acually, if you were born in 2000 your platinum birthday was the day you were born :D
01 is first, 02 second, 03 third, etc. etc.

My eleventh birthday was okay... not as good as twelfth or thirteenth, though.
My second birthday? I don't remember it. The first birthday was better.
And 98... doubt I'll make it that long.

7th birthday was silver. It was awful. My friend (who was also friends with my sister) had tickets to Harry Potter 5 (I think) and took my sis on my birthday. -.-' Then my dad was out of town and my mom ran errands.

12th was gold. Not too bad. I was sick and my dad was, yet again, out of town, and my mom went to the mall with my sister.

My birthdays aren't too spectacular. ._.

My platinum will be 99. I hope I live there.
