So here you are. Another of my increasingly occurring rants.
Im sick of this. Im sick of watching newbs come on here and acting like theyre tough. Ive seen them think they can just punch people in the face, as though the other person would be unable to move their hands or feet to dodge or defend themselves. Its called godplay, f---ers. And its annoying as hell. You are not invincible. Yes, if you think the person youre attacking is going to go along with your little roleplay, youd better be damn well ready to die.
No one bothers to listen to what others are saying anymore. Misunderstandings, typical. The inability to understand what the other person is saying, and the way its constantly starting arguments on here. Im sick of seeing people get all worked up over a simple misinterpretation of words.
Also, Im noticing a growing amount of hate threads. Hating on homosexuals, hating on countries, hating on artists, hating on other users. Prejudice. Grouping everyone from a certain place, race, sexuality, into one horrible label. It makes me sick. If your complaint cannot be backed up by evidence supporting it, dont spout it out and expect to get away with it unscathed.
Next- pity seekers. Really? When people get upset on here, many times, I have seen them attempt to threaten others with suicide. Honestly. This is the point where they say theyre going to kill themselves, because theyre so stupid and useless, and then sit there and watch as a bunch of random people flood in to tell them theyre perfect, and they could never do anything wrong. And this guy (you know who you are) whose every other post depicts him cutting his wrists. Also a cry for sympathy and attention. And a recent post by a third account Ive seen about a user falling down the stairs. Now if they actually did, I apologize, but I think anyone with a brain could see that it was a fabricated story. This person says that their friend has just fallen down the stairs, and shes unconscious and covered in blood. Eeeww. -.- So theyre on the computer talking on Gotoquiz while their friend bleeds out. Right. Either way, this pity seeking crap is getting on my nerves.
Desperate threads asking for a boyfriend/girlfriend. Seriously? Okay. Youre advertising yourself without dignity, and asking someone to like it. It doesnt happen. Unless that person is just so inexperienced that they somehow fall into it. Real relationships dont start in a thread begging for one. Youre supposed to work up to that point, by getting to know someone over a long period of time. These threads are pointless and demented, and yes, I will f---ing shoot them down if I feel like it. And no, stating that your relationship is fake love when you decide that youre deeply in love after a few minutes, is not talking trash about your girlfriend/boyfriend.
For gods sake, I dont care whether or not the internet is f---ing English class! Use proper grammar, spelling, and sentence structure. Getting mad is not an excuse to suddenly become incomprehensible. All caps, cuss words making up all the content of your message. Its as if you wrote down all the cuss words you wanted to say, then filled in spaces in between them with random letters and unintelligible phrases. Text talk is not language, so dont even try. How you type says a lot about you, and Ive found many people Id never wish to speak to simply by watching them type. You morons who butcher the language that made me who I am, are you really too lazy to reach for the shift button and capitalize your Is? Too much so to bother using real punctuation and real words? I can understand the occasional typo, but when your entire statement needs a key to be deciphered, theres an issue.
Yes, Im gonna take a shot at the soaps on here, too. Not that theres too many- thats already painfully obvious. On the quality of them. If youre going to do a soap, do more than one sentence. What exactly do you people accomplish like that? No grammar, no punctuation. One sentence posts. People trying to make their charrie the focus of the thread. I did a soap with one of these people before, not having known them prior to. I specified three things: Proper typing, no godplay, and not to try and make their charrie the focus of the soap. They broke all three within 15 minutes. Also- soaps are meant so you can customize your charrie. Your appearance, your temperament, your role. These stupid things Ive seen done recently where someone fills out all the roles to be taken and has people claim them? Bulls---. No.

I can never write up big posts without lots of spelling errors, so I wrote this in Word first for the spell check, and it erased all my apostrophes, for whatever reason. e.e

That godplay s--- is annoying. You can't physically hurt someone through a computer, 'death' happens. So I agree.
People never know how to shut up and listen anymore. Then again, I don't listen to people who think they're better than me.
Ah Jay...Evan threw a mini fit at him, lecturing him about respect and honor. Then both apologized and read their Shakespeare. Poor Evan had so much trouble understanding the language.
I hate pity. Don't want it and rarely give it.
I hate these relationships that start after a DAY. And the 'Cupid' crap, but I think that ended.
These people claim to be good at roleplaying, but they really just...suck. Nuff said. -

I used to be a newbie and I acted like that but now I know its not right. I try my best with my spelling, i'm not the best, and my grammer. Things are getting out of hand. Somethings I wanted to say others I did not care but overall I agree with you.

I'm glad to have confirmation as to my suspicions, as well. I'm happy to see that others had their doubts as to the legitimacy of that "injury".
