If somebody isn't exactly like them they won't treat them the same. Like when I told them I was atheist they were like "What, you don't believe in God, you will go to hell and burn there forever!" Then I said "Okay" then after that they didn't treat me the same. Or when it was "The Day of Silence" for supporting gay and bi people who are to afraid of coming out for who they are. I was supporting that and they kept saying "Gay people aren't they same as us, they are disgusting" and I said "They are the same, just not exactly" but still they kept to what they thought. Sometimes I wonder if they really are my friends.

I was supporting The Day of Silence too and my friends kept laughing at me for supporting gay people. My boyfriend laughed in my face because I wouldn't talk to my band teacher. Uggggh

The best thing to do is just keep your opinions to yourself,actually.If you know how people are,its just best to not mention it and support it on your own,or around people you know who have the same beliefs.
Ugh,it sucks.But thats just how it is. -
