JRobert NewbieIt seems the medical establishment thinks we all need to be on this or that pill just to function. Why is that? Does our current lifestyle really result in that much mental illness? Did past generations have this problem? Is it a plot by the pharmaceutical companies?
How many here are on medication at the moment? -
Bambi NoviceI'm not on medication but I understand what you mean. I think that even with a basic mental health problem they prescribe a pill, it's probably for the money and not our benefit.
-
jessibess NewbieI agree.
I think there are also too many people that diagnose themselves with illnesses such as depression without visiting a doctor first. It's kind of scary, actually. -
Jtb96 Newbieor maybe society has just gotten lazier. if ppl in the past had lets say similar predicaments ppl have now i bet they were able to overcome it dont u think? im not on medication but maybe its just for pharmaceutical companies finacial position to increase.

rachcab21 NewbieWhat? I don't understand gibberish. Being a doctor or whatever is not in top of my list.
-
Carri04 NoviceTrue, maybe we don't need medications, maybe it's a plot by the government for the economy, but are you familiar with the antipsychotic medications Thorazine, Haldol, and Risperdal? Well we are going to need those medications for mental patients who suffer from schisoprhrenia and similar disorders, they help reduce their frightening hallucinations and control their frantic paranoia, I believe it can't be a plot because of how medications help us.
hahahaha medical science is my strong point.
Peace

Bambi NoviceLoL Rachy!

rachcab21 NewbieYeah. The only word that came into my mind was "medical", but then the words after that was confusing!!
