That really sucks, dude. Even more so since your fam is religious.
Mine kind of does it in private, but in public I'm a girl to her. So pretty much the opposite :') -
Have you had a real talk to her? If you haven't maybe you could try, even if it ends in argument. If you have maybe you could try again, or just keep correcting her until she gets it?
If you don't mind me asking, does your dad or sibling get it right? Or at least, accept it and try? -

I've had a couple, they normally end pretty well but then it feels like she just forgets everything the next day. I've tried, but I also know it's like really, really difficult for her (She does it with my friends too sometimes, so I know it's not just a family/me thing) so I try to let it go most of the time.
I don't mind. My siblings don't really get that it's a real thing (They're all 11 and under so pretty little) so they use it as like, a nickname, and my dad will use it whenever my friends are around and talk to me alone about it sometimes to understand what's happening.
I honestly think she just thinks it's a phase. Same with my dad, only... More, I guess. Like, my dad wants to go all-out and extreme, but also knows it might all change in a month. And he doesn't want to move too fast and make my mom feel totally left behind and alone.

Honestly, same here. I mean, my mum practically forgets all about it in a day and I have to remind her the next morning.
I get that it could be difficult, but at least try?
But yeah it would definitely make it harder with religion. -

I do it a lot when my friends come over since she f---s it up with their transitions too, so I try and kill two birds with one stone sometimes. Honestly though, my siblings keep her in check more than I do though :')
