When you look at history of recreation
We hate villains as kids and love the hero's
As adults we understand well written villains
Everything is a matter of perspective really making a lot more things subjective than you may think. allow me to enlighten more on my point.
Every villain in existence can not be a a Truly objectively villainous person because Society overlooks viable motives. Society could be the villain in actuality. Everything happens for a reason and to overlook these reasons as not good enough for outcome is ignorant. How would anyone but the suspect know if the reason for their actions are reasonable unless they have been through the same thing. So who is the villain? -
There is such thing as too much identity. Identity does not represent freedom one must realize this because of the fact that no man and no woman is actually free. Free Will is an illusion has people have talked about it in the past and great minds alike if you think you're free then frankly you're no more free than a North Korean citizen. One thing people typically forget it is that authority doesn't only come from government.
Authority comes from government, family, nature, your own self oh, the limits that you cast upon yourself due to being a human being.
You're as free as a human can be there for you are not free at all because of the fact that you're always restricted. The only Freedom that you yourself can consciously see is freedom from government. Everything else is an apparent enough therefore you cannot tell yourself that you are free and that you have free will because everything is predetermined anyways. To appoint the fact that you were born into this world
On a planet that is able to inhabit human life with just enough oxygen just enough water and just the right environment entirely within the confines of this planet means that you never really had free will to start with
You didn't choose whether or not to be born
For you were too young to know what the concept of being born was anyways
It is with the knowledge that your family teaches you as you bro is exactly what causes you to be able to make educated decisions. If it wasn't for this then you would still have no free will cuz he wouldn't know how to act freely. The fact that you're even breathing right now is not freely done you're doing it subconsciously. It reaches a point whenever in your life you don't have to consciously think about walking this is probably the closest you'll get to free will but at the same time it's automatic but implemented behind the mental mind. Point is oh, none of us are free and none of us have free will because everything is influenced. Even living out in the middle of a forest has it been slow there for you're not free -
The ship of Theseus
If you replace all of a ship's parts with new ones is it the same ship?
This thought experiment in its basic sense has no true answer
But in a political sense. If a country has committed a atrocities in its past but has grown since then is it the same country?
Looking a map and name one could say yes.
Looking at it from its entirety one has to say no. Unfortunately it seems the world doesn't understand that. -
"Essence precedes Existence." ~Plato
Yes the very man who got governments all wrong. This Phrase in a basic sense says there is a predefined purpose in life. This thought process in modern day causes pure anxiety from existentialism.
Truth is its most likely other way around.
"Existence Precedes Essence" ~ Jean Paul Sartre
This means our existence determines purpose as their most likely is no predefined purpose in life.
"Now, if there is no purpose why bother going on? Life after all is pointless."
Your sir or madam are having your own existential crisis. This is good but can go sour real fast. There is no need to be Nihilistic.
Life is pointless? Do you some god in the sky for comfort because if you did you never were quite a believer in the first place.
Lemme lay something out for the Nihilist drinking themself too sleep in the corner. Put the drink down. It may have no inherent meaning but there's were you come in.
Remember, Existence Precedes Essence. Your Existence forms its own purpose. You make your purpose. A purpose is made by man.
And remember
"Plato was wrong"
