So basically I was super excited to go to a convention until my mom said I had to make a costume.
I'm terrible at making things. Let alone sew a f---ING GODDAMN s---TY COSTUME.

ANY f---ING WAYS-
I kept begging my dad to talk to my mom and convince her to let ME but MY OWN COSTUME.

That's how much I want the costume.
I AM f---ING WILLING TO PAY $65.98 AND $5 DELIVERY FEE FOR IT.
But my mom kept saying mo.
Eventually I got really pissed off when she started to try and force me to enter the costume contest.
THAT was only for people who make costumes and want to win prizes.

So I get pissed off and start screaming at her.
Please keep in mind that I had been holding in a lot of anger for over 2 weeks. Also adding a bunch of stress. :)
And tbh, I literally never yell at my parents unless I really want something.

Anyways my mom starts spewing insults at me about how I never do anything right and how I'm a spoiled brat.
Every time I try to defend myself, she kept cutting me off.
And honestly, those insults really hurt me.
Eventually I got to my breaking point and just said I wasn't gonna go to the convention at all.
Because
1. I wanted it to be perfect because it was my first time going to a convention.
2. I didn't want to cause drama in the household. I have enough of that in this dumb family already.
3. It would be better to sit at home and watch anime while eating junk food while everybody went to the convention.
AND THEN THAT b---- BROUGHT RELIGION INTO THE ARGUMENT

I do believe in Jesus, but my parents force religion onto my brother and I. It really makes me upset, and sometimes it triggers me when they go on certain topics.
Anyways~
My mom pulls up pictured of the convention and said that the costumes were "homemade."

Those costumes were literally from the store.
How do I know?
I was browsing a bunch of costumes and the exact costumes that the people were wearing were the costumes from the internet. .—.
I didn't point that out and just continued arguing with her. (I'm not really in the right state of mind when I'm mad-)
So finally we come to the conclusion where YES, I can stay home, but I still have to make a costume.
So what I'm going to do is take a dress that my mom loves and cherishes (still deciding to use either a part of her wedding dress or use the dress I have that she loves and my dad and I both hate) and then destroy it. :D

But I'm too angry to do anything. ._.
So what I did was eat the leftover pizza that my mom was gonna have for lunch tomorrow.

Also, the costume I wanted was a Asuna costume from SAO.
If not, then Eri from MHA.
But I’m still pretty embarrassed yet mad, so I wanted to know if I was acting spoiled so I could fix myself or if I was somewhat right and somewhat wrong. :) -

I think it's something to be upset about. I believe that sometimes parents can be annoying but you were being a little over aggressive to them.
