Wow, that's a really strong feelings. Though I agree that there are many things that are wrong, I must also say this:
We've gotten further. We may have less stuff to do, and be bored and whiney and all of that, but we also have gone so far. We learn how to save people's lives, and we learn more and more about the world we live in every day. Sometimes I wish everything would just go away, and the world would be what it was like thousands of years ago, but then I realize, maybe the point of life, like many other things, is to do learn.
The further back we go in terms of human race, the more we have to learn, and we will always continue learning.
Sorry, that was my own rant. =P Not trying to seem pushy. -
I'd rather die of the plegue than get raped by a sex crazed man.
And eventually, Musicgirl, we'll kill the earth. I try my hardest to do what I can, including picking up glass on the little kids playground at my school and turning it in, growing a tree and unsuccessfully plating it on earth day.(XD at least I try).
And Musicgirl, it seems you support going foreward. Just to let you know, I don't.;)
I like the past, and prefer to learn from it and learn how to slow the progression and create a better world. -
I agree with your morals, to let you know. I'm not against making the world better, and more bio-friendly. But don't you think maybe going forward could maybe eventually come up with the ultimate life-saving, Earth-happy plan? The future can't be all bad. But I do hate what we're doing to the planet.

Also, I just wanted to tell you that I appreciate the way you reply. It's not threatening, like some people can be. You're very good at having a real conversation/debate, and not just a mindless, one sided argument.
