Duolingo messes up their pronunciation. I"m learning Gaelic, and had to look up how to pronounce the word 'agus,' because the guy voices pronounced it 'agus' and the girl voices pronounced it 'acus' and I didn't know which one I was supposed to do. Their sentences also don't always make sense. Like 'Chan eil charaid snog.' It means a friend is not nice. And 'Seall, drathais orm.' It means Look, I have underpants on. You simply don't tell people that.
Also they wouldn't say what IRN BRU was, so I just had to assume people ran across the hills of Scotland shouting, "IRN BRU! IRN BRU! IRN BRU!" So I had to look it up.
The strange sentences don't really pop up all that often, though. Other than that it's pretty good.
